In less than a year of the launch of Lollipop, Google is coming up with a new Operating System. With a legacy of giving trending names like Honeycomb, Ice cream sandwich, Jellybean, KitKat and Lollipop, the new operating system will be having initial M.
Many people are speculating what will be the name of the new Google OS. Some of the names which are speculated are as follows:
- Milkybar
- Milkshake
- Muffins
- Marshmallow
- Moon Pie
The current version of Android is Lollipop and prior to its launch it was being called Android L. Google will be launching the new Android operating system M at their I/O developer conference along with other products towards the end of May 2015.
Media reports that the new Google Android M operating system will be addressing the issue of privacy, providing more support for inter-connectivity between different platforms as well as providing a new level of technology for smart cars and Internet of things. Tech industry is speculating for Android M to provide extraordinary platform providing leverage for Android Auto. An Auto version of OS might come bundled into car’s hardware and have complete features to support infotainment features as well as it is collaborating and communicating in more creative ways, that hasn’t been done before.
As per Bloomberg reports, the new OS will let users select which information they want to share with the corresponding application, including current location, photo, contacts and so on.
To steer up further healthy competition against its counterpart Apple, Google will definitely come up with some very creative & rich features with the new operating system providing a better platform for developers to develop Android Mobile Applications.
